Rocky Mountain Flowers
Outdoor Colorado wedding ceremony with a floral arch and white chairs

Colorado wedding flowers, designed or by the stem.

An elopement and a 250-guest reception are both real orders here. We design the florals, deliver the loose stems, or split one order between both.

How much of it do you want to do yourself?

DIY saves the most money. Designed saves the most time. Mixed is what most couples pick.

Six palettes that hold up in Colorado light

At altitude the sun is bright and contrasty and the landscape behind your photographs is brown, gold or grey rock. Subtle mid-tones disappear. These do not.

  • Blush

Silver dollar eucalyptus is doing more work here than it looks like. Without it, a blush palette drifts sweet.

  • White & Green

Aim for at least four distinct textures. Three whites in the same shape reads as a mistake, not a palette.

  • Bright

Use mixed greens rather than silver dollar eucalyptus. The silver-blue leaf fights warm colors.

  • Jewel Tone

Include cream or white at roughly 20% of the mix. Without it, dark palettes photograph as a shadow.

  • Sunset

Terracotta carnations are the anchor and the lowest-cost way into this palette. Build outward from them.

  • Lavender

Lavender shifts grey under warm bulbs. Check a sample under your venue's actual lighting before ordering at volume.

Work out your stem count

It tells you how big the order is before anyone quotes it. Almost every first guess is about 40% low.

A quote shaped around your event

Tell us what you need and when you need it. A florist prices the flowers and design work for your event, then sends an itemized proposal you can adjust before booking.

Turnaround

Your proposal is usually ready within one business day.

Small orders are welcome, and your proposal only includes the work you ask us to handle.

Common questions

What areas do you deliver to?
The Colorado Front Range and the mountain towns. Denver, Boulder, Longmont and Castle Rock are our closest zone; Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley are a second; Vail, Summit County, Estes Park and canyon venues are quoted per event because the drive is long and weather-dependent. If your town is not on that list it is probably still in range, so ask.
Do you take small events?
Yes. Elopements, intimate weddings and small memorial services are normal orders here, not exceptions we make. Most quality Colorado studios set minimums that rule those out. Ours is set low enough that they do not.
Do you sell loose stems as well as finished arrangements?
Yes, and a single order can be split between the two. Bulk stems for the reception tables, designed florals for the bridal party, one delivery and one invoice. A national bulk site cannot make you a bouquet, and a traditional florist will not sell you loose stems.
How far in advance should I book?
Bulk stems need 10 days and designed work needs 14. Those are minimums rather than recommendations. For a summer or autumn Saturday on the Front Range we would rather have your order six to eight months out, because our delivery capacity on peak dates fills long before the flowers run short. Sympathy orders are exempt.
How many stems will I need?
A bridal bouquet takes 25 to 35 stems, a bridesmaid bouquet 12 to 18, a low centerpiece 15 to 25, and a boutonniere one stem plus greenery. Our stem calculator works it out from your guest and table counts, and every quote we send includes a line-by-line count you can check.
Can I order the exact arrangement I see in a photo?
Yes, within what the season allows. Send us the images you like and we build the quote around them: same palette, same shape, sized to your tables. Where a specific flower is out of season we substitute variety rather than colour and tell you before you approve anything.
