What happens, and when
The whole process, laid out. The one thing that surprises people is the early bulk delivery. That is deliberate, and it is why your flowers peak on your event date rather than before it.
- 1
Day 0
You send a request
Two minutes on the quote form, or a phone call. Event date, delivery city, guest count, roughly what you want.
- 2
Within 1 business day
You get an itemised quote
Stem counts by flower and colour, delivery window, delivery fee and total. Not a range, not a brochure. Change anything before you commit.
- 3
On approval
Deposit confirms your date
A deposit holds your delivery slot. Balance is due before delivery. We never collect card details through the website.
- 4
2–3 weeks out
We place the farm order
Your flowers get ordered against your specific date. This is the point after which substitutions become variety-level rather than open.
- 5
48 hours ahead
Delivery window confirmed
We narrow your AM or PM slot to a two-hour window and confirm the address and the on-site contact.
- 6
2–3 days before
Bulk stems arrive
Refrigerated transport, sorted by flower type, conditioning notes in the box. Condition that evening. Flowers need 24 to 48 hours to open.
- 7
Event morning
Arrangements arrive
Ready-made pieces delivered already conditioned and ready to place. Nothing for you to build.
- 8
Within 24 hours
Anything wrong, we fix it
Photograph it and contact us. We replace, credit or refund the affected stems. Your call.
Lead times, substitutions and claims
Lead times
10 days minimum for bulk stems. 14 days for ready-made arrangements, because they are built to order in the two days before delivery.
Those are minimums, not recommendations. For a summer or autumn Saturday on the Front Range, six to eight months out is realistic. Our delivery capacity on peak dates fills long before the flowers do.
Sympathy work is exempt. We hold capacity for it,call us.
Substitutions
We substitute variety, never colour. If your order calls for blush roses and a specific variety falls short at the farm, you get a different blush rose of equal or better grade. You do not get pink, and you do not get a phone call the day before asking you to choose.
Anything larger than a variety-level swap, we contact you first.
Freshness claims
Photograph the problem and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We replace the affected stems, credit them, or refund them. Your choice.
The 24-hour window exists because after that it becomes impossible to tell a transit problem from a conditioning problem, and we would rather publish a clear policy than have an argument.
Conditioning is your half of the job
For bulk orders, what happens in the hour after the box opens decides whether the flowers peak on your event day or three days before it. Strip the foliage, cut at an angle, get them into clean water with flower food, and leave them alone overnight.
We include conditioning notes for each flower type in the box, and every product page publishes its own steps. The full walkthrough is worth ten minutes of reading before your delivery arrives, not during.
